Lodge of Concorde celebrated the 50th anniversary of its consecration with a trip to two of its iconic namesakes on Weds. One team in Scotland visited the museum at East Fortune nr Edinburgh whilst another group travelled a little closer to home at Brooklands.
The team at Brooklands were treated to a VIP visit and a tour of this technological marvel getting a few pics in the cockpit before exploring the other iconic aircraft at the museum. The day was made special by a video call link up to connect the visits.
The day ended with a meal and a few drinks at the nearby Brooklands hotel. This year will be marked with more events and anyone interested in coming along is encouraged to contact the lodge.
