Five Points 'New' Worshipful Master

We had a fun installation meeting on Saturday 12th September 2026 with #2 Clark son David taking the Master's Chair.

The Immediate Past Provincial Grand Master John Clark was feeling nostalgic, taking up the office of Inner Guard of his Mother Lodge once again after many decades.

David gave a long Master's speech at the Festive Board, the highlight of which was pointing out how his dad is the "Oldest" member of the Lodge. He is actually the most Senior Member, occupying the dangerous number 1 position on the back of the Summons.

We were honoured by a visit from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master Neil Robertson and he reiterated the special link between us and his Mother Lodge Heatherden.

Heatherden is Five Points' Mother Lodge and we've always had a very close relationship with them taking great pleasure in visiting each other's Lodges and Chapters.

Overall, the afternoon was a perfect storm of Great Ritual, Great Friends and Great Food - we all had a fantastic time.

A deputation of Five Points Lodge members visited Heatherden Lodge 7345 to see our Scribe E Kevin Ell’s son Conner be installed into the Chair of King Solomon.

Roy Ennis from Thomas Harper Lodge No.9612 where Dave A and Billy are members gave a lovely rendition of the Master’s Song.

We all had a great time at our Mother Lodge and long may we continue to visit and support each other at our meetings.

It is with saddened heart we have to report the sad passing of Mick Melia. A great Man, great friend and great Mason. We were honoured to have him as our Tyler for many years and proud to have him as a honorary member. He will missed by all. RIP Mick. You lived respected and died regretted.
