A Message About Our Youth Club ❤️

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that, due to a lack of funding, we have made the difficult decision to close our youth club for the time being.

We want to say a huge thank you to every young person, parent/carer, volunteer, partner and supporter who has been part of the club. Your support, participation and enthusiasm have made the club what it is, and we are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together.

We will continue to look at new funding opportunities that could allow us to deliver different projects for young people, including potential six-week projects, holiday activities, workshops and other programmes.

We remain passionate about supporting local young people and creating safe, positive spaces where they can meet, learn, have fun and develop new skills.

Thank you once again to everyone who has supported us and been part of the youth club. ❤️

We hope to bring new projects and opportunities to our young people in the future.

WE’RE HIRING – CAFE MANAGER

Are you passionate about food, baking, people and creating a welcoming café environment?

Our lovely café on Kings Road, South Ham is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Café Manager to join our team for 30 hours per week.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for food and enjoys creating delicious things
• Has experience in making cakes and food
• Has a good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety
• Has experience with stock control and keeping things organised
• Has strong leadership and management skills
• Is friendly, approachable and enjoys building great relationships with customers
• Can build a good rapport with both customers and the team
• Is reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
• Is confident managing day-to-day café operations
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and food quality
• Has a positive attitude and is happy to get stuck in and lead by example
•Has level 2 and 3 in catering is preferred but not essential

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who loves food, enjoys working with people and can help create a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for both our customers and team.

What an amazing day at 4 Kingdoms to finish our Summer HAF programme on a real high!

A huge thank you to all the wonderful families who attended throughout the summer. We have loved every minute of it and hope you’ve had as much fun as we have! 💛

We’re nearing our final week of Summer HAF, and what a fantastic week we’ve had!

We started with a visit from a local farm, where the children enjoyed brushing Sweetie the pony, playing with the baby goats and watching one of the chickens lay an egg!

On Tuesday, the children got creative with digital storytelling, using different backgrounds and props, as well as making nature-inspired arty faces. 🎨🌿

Love Basingstoke also joined us on the field, offering lots of extra activities, including crazy golf and fencing. ⛳🤺

Today started with a high-energy Glow Disco, with dancing and games before the children decorated their own baseball caps ready for tomorrow’s trip to 4 Kingdoms Adventure Park.

Our Teen HAF sessions have also been busy! The young people enjoyed making a delicious chilli for their lunch, played bubble football and made flipbots. It’s been so lovely to watch some lovely friendships grow during these sessions.

Another brilliant week of fun, creativity and new experiences! 🌟

Week 3 of HAF complete! 🎉 These summer holidays are going far too quickly!

Yesterday, the children had a fantastic time singing, dancing and playing games with NikNak Events. We also celebrated a very special 9th birthday! 🎂🥳

Today, we had lots of fun learning new circus skills 🎪 — and we think the adults enjoyed it just as much as the children! We finished the day with ice creams 🍦 and a water fight! 💦

A huge thank you to all the families who have attended this week. We’ve loved seeing everyone having so much fun and can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings!
