Let's hear it for the small wins. ๐ŸŒŸ

You know the ones. The shoes that went on the right feet (first try!). The "thank you" that came out without a single reminder. The morning where everyone got out the door and nobody cried โ€” including you.

The big milestones get all the fuss, but honestly? It's these little everyday victories that keep us going. The brave wave at the school gate. The new food that got tried instead of pushed away. The cuddle that arrived exactly when you needed it most.

Parenting doesn't come with a scoreboard, so today we're making one. โ˜•

So go on โ€” brag a little. We're all friends here.

๐Ÿ‘‡ What's one small win you've had this week? Big or tiny, it all counts. We'd love to celebrate it with you.

๐Ÿ’œ Sometimes, the most important thing you can do is take a little time for yourself.

Our Friday Morning Club recently enjoyed a beautiful Sound Bath Experience with Zoe from The Harmonious Healing Hubs, and it was wonderful to see parents and carers taking a moment to pause, relax, and simply switch off from the demands of everyday life.

The feedback says it all:

โœจ โ€œIt was lovely to be able to switch off and enjoy the sounds.โ€
โœจ โ€œAbsolutely love these sessions. I find them so calming.โ€
โœจ โ€œReally good workshop โ€“ definitely worth doing.โ€

As parents and carers, weโ€™re often so busy looking after everyone else that we forget to look after ourselves. Sessions like this provide a safe, welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and recharge.

A huge thank you to the Merkur Community Fund for making this event possible through their funding support. Their generosity helps us continue to offer wellbeing activities that make a real difference to families in our community.

And thank you to everyone who came along and shared the experience with us. Seeing people leave feeling calmer, more relaxed and connected is exactly why we do what we do. ๐Ÿ’œ

Mental Health Awareness Week always feels like a good nudge to slow down and notice the little things โ€” the ones that quietly hold us together on the busier weeks.

So we'd love to know: what's made you smile lately? ๐ŸŒผ

It can be anything at all. A toddler proudly announcing they've "invented dinosaurs". A teenager actually saying thank you without being prompted. The first proper cup of tea while the house is still asleep. Bluebells on the school run. Finding both shoes. A hug that lasted three seconds longer than usual.

None of these little moments fix a hard week. But noticing them stitches a bit of softness back into the day โ€” and parents and carers deserve that softness too.

Pop yours in the comments, however small. We'd genuinely love to read them. โ˜•

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week ๐ŸŒฟ

If you're a parent or carer reading this on a Monday morning, chances are your own mental health hasn't had much of a look-in lately. The school run, the packed lunches, the appointments, the worry that hums quietly in the background โ€” it all adds up.

Here's a gentle reminder: looking after yourself isn't selfish. It's not a luxury you've not earned. It's the thing that keeps you upright for everyone leaning on you.

Self-care doesn't have to mean a spa day. It can be a proper cup of tea before the chaos starts. Five minutes in the garden. Saying no to one extra thing this week. A quick text to a friend who truly gets it.

You're doing far more than you give yourself credit for. Please don't forget you.

๐Ÿ’ฌ What's one small thing you'll do for yourself this week? Even the tiny things count.

As April draws to a close, so does Stress Awareness Month โ€” and with a bank holiday weekend on the horizon, it feels like the right moment to pause. ๐ŸŒฟ

Here's the thing nobody tells you about parenting: rest doesn't always look like a spa day or a quiet cup of tea. Sometimes it's hiding in the kitchen for two extra minutes before the next "Muuum!" Sometimes it's saying no to one more thing this weekend. Sometimes it's letting the washing pile wait.

You don't need to "earn" rest by getting everything done first. Tired parents don't need fixing โ€” they need a moment to breathe.

So this long weekend, whether you're juggling a packed itinerary or just surviving rainy days indoors, give yourself permission to slow down. Even five minutes counts.

What's one tiny thing that helps you reset when the day feels too much? Pop it in the comments โ€” your idea might be exactly what another parent needs to read today. ๐Ÿ’›
