We have our window lit up green. Although it’s not that effective in the day light.

In Essex alone, in 2023, 168 people took their own lives. Su***de is, in fact, the leading cause of death in the UK (United Kingdom) among men under 50.

Join us for ‘Creating Hope Through Light’ across Essex, 7–11 September.
During the week, organisations, communities and individuals across Essex will light up buildings and landmarks in green to shine a light on su***de prevention and encourage more people to talk about su***de. We will be lighting our charity shop and counselling offices green.

Take the free ***de training and learn three simple steps:
See, Say, Signpost.

Take the training and share it with your family, friends and colleagues:

At Basildon Mind we are proud to be an independent charity for our local community.
At our charity shop as you can see from our new signs,
“ Every Penny raised in this shop is helping local people with their mental health “
From our donators who bring items to our shop, people who buy Adventure Island and Sea life tickets to people who fundraise for us, every penny goes straight back into our services we offer to our local community.
We Thank you for your continued support to our local charity.
