🌈 We had a brilliant time at The Tuesday Morning Club today because we spent a lovely two hours with students and teachers from St Mary's PS Granemore and Foley Primary School Ballymacnab. We missed St Michael's PS, Clady, but we will see you soon. 🫢

♻️ Today we were getting together as part of Intergenerational Week 2016 which aims to reduce social isolation and create stronger, more inclusive communities where people of all ages can thrive.

🌎 We wanted to promote understanding, respect, and the mutual benefits between different age groups through a shared art activity. So we took today's theme "Let’s Save the World Together" and created an amazing 25 foot long mural to show how we can do that in our community.

🎨 πŸ–Œ Thanks a million to everyone who joined in the fun today, it was absolutely brilliant! πŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks so much to Roisin Tallon at Action Mental Health for delivering the Provoking Thought Workshop at The Tuesday Morning Club today. We thoroughly enjoyed it and learned so much about the importance of positive mental health and being open about our own experiences.

New members are always welcome! πŸ‘Œ

We held a very successful information event in Clady Hall for farmers yesterday evening. It was expertly delivered by the very capable Noel McNeill from Discover CAFRE who was warmly welcomed by local Cllr BrΓ³na Haughey on behalf of The Tuesday Morning Club.

We welcomed just over 60 farmers on the evening and Noel talked with them about changes to farm payments and schemes, eligibility for payments, business development groups and the various supports available for farmers.

If any of the attendees wish to be put in contact with Noel or find out more information about any of the topics discussed, please get in touch with Maeveen Brown on 07739359888 who will be happy to help.

Thanks to Noel, BrΓ³na and every farming family who attended. If you would like us to organise more of these types of events that support our local community, please get in touch with your suggestions.

We are delighted to host our very first community event, aimed at supporting the many farming families in our area.

Farming is a 24/7 profession and as well as the physical demands on farmers there are emotional, mental and financial pressures to contend with also. This talk by Noel McNeill is designed to address all of these, so be sure to put it in your diary.

Please share this with your own family, your friends and neighbours as it promises to be a very supportive and informative meeting.

Thank you to Cllr BrΓ³na Haughey for kindly agreeing to chair the meeting.
