🚜Balmoral Show🚜

On Thursday 14th May, County Armagh members headed to Balmoral Show to take part in a variety of different competitions🤩.
* To start the day, Collone YFC member, Daniel Cloughley competed in the Dairy Stock Judging competition. The competition was fierce but Daniel represented County Armagh very well.🐄
* Next up Joel Milligan, Collone YFC and George Porter, Mountnorris YFC competed in the Tractor Handling Finals. The boys placed 1st overall - a great achievement and effort from the boys.🚜
* To end the day, Tug O’ War teams from Collone, Mountnorris and Co. Armagh girls took to the rope. Well done to all members who took part and especially to Mountnorris boys who placed 1st in the Novice section.🪢
What a successful day it was for the Orchard County! We are so proud of all members who participated in the competitions as well as those who are helping on the YFCU stand over the course of the 4 days and those who have stewards at the competitions👏.

🪚Build-It Heats🪚

Last night members headed to Markethill Livestock Mart to take part in the Build-It Heats.
It was great to see teams from all 4 clubs in the County taking part!😊
Members were tasked to make a coffee table from a pallet and as we can see our members done a great job!👏
Well done to Bleary team 2 who placed 1st and to Collone Team 1 who placed 2nd. Bleary will now progress to the finals!🤩
Thank you must go to Masons Animal Feeds Ltd for donating the pallets, Markethill Livestock & Farm Sales for the use of their yard and to Benjamin Allen for coming along to judge the tables for us.

🗳️YFCU AGM & Conference Weekend🗳️

Members from the County headed to the Silverbirch Hotel on Friday 24th April - Sunday 26th April for the annual YFCU AGM & Conference weekend. All members had a great weekend and plenty of success was had within the County. A special congratulations must go to Karen Walker for being elected as Vice President of the organisation for a second year running. Your hard work and dedication to the organisation does not go unnoticed!👏

🚜Machinery Handling Heats🚜

Last night members headed to Markethill Mart to participate in the County Machinery Handling Heats. The competition was intense to see who could finish the course without any faults in the quickest but safest time.
Thank you to Markethill Livestock & Farm Sales for the use of their yard and to Burkes of Cornascriebe LTD for the use of a tractor and trailer for the night.
Well done to George Porter from Mountnorris who placed 1st and to Joel Milligan from Collone who placed 2nd.
Both boys will now compete in the finals at Balmoral Show in May🤩

💃YFCU AGM & Conference💃

Next Saturday members from across the country will gather together at the Silverbirch Hotel for the annual YFCU AGM & Conference weekend.

Many of our County members will be picking up awards as a mark their hard work and dedication to Young Farmers throughout the year. Well done to each and every one of you, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!👏

An amazing achievement for Collone Young Farmers! The County are behind you all the way🤩

🎉 Club of the Year Finals 🎉

We are delighted to announce that Collone YFC have made it through to the Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster Club of the Year Finals - this means we are one of the top 5 clubs in this year’s competition 💪👏

The competition has been running throughout the club year and it has taken a lot of hard work from our officials, committee and members to reach this stage - a huge credit to EVERYONE involved ❤️💙

We would like to wish Linzi, James, Ruth & Zara Good Luck as they present at the finals on the 25th at this year’s AGM & Conference 🤞🤞
