Next week The Town Board and project subgroup members will be completing two walking tours through Arbroath - assessing improvements and the town centre’s look and feel.
The walks take place on Wednesday 10th June from 5pm-8.30pm, and Saturday 13th of June at the earlier time of 10am-1.30pm.
It’s important that all the voices of our community are heard, so there will be designated points along the route for local community and businesses to come along, share thoughts and help shape what Arbroath town centre looks like. Please note that these are approximate timings as it depends on how much discussion there is, and the pace of the walkers.
Wednesday 10th June.
Start: Gayfield. 5pm
➡ Discussion Point One: Arbroath Community Centre
Approx 5.30pm – 5.50pm
➡ Discussion Point Two: The Old and Abbey Area
Approx 6.30pm – 6.50pm
➡ Discussion Point Three: The Port Kitchen (Wed) / In front of The Station Bar (Sat)
Approx 7.20pm – 7.40pm
We’ll finish at Gayfield, which will also be a discussion point. We’re hoping to arrive at 8pm and will close the consultation around 8.20pm.
There will also be a feedback survey you can fill in, even if you don’t attend any of the public consultation stops. Or if you’d like to walk the route yourself, both the tour and the survey are available on the town app, or pick up a paper copy from the Old & Abbey or The Port Kitchen.
Town board members and the sub group members will be on hand to give out and help with the consultation forms but you can go online to the Our Arbroath page and fill them in, its open till the 24th June
