The Vine Centre

Supporting our local community in NE Hampshire and Surrey borders. We aim to reduce social isolation, enable change and improve quality of life.

It is walking distance from the town centre and is approximately 5 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus station. It is a registered charity (number, 1193666) and is governed by a board of trustees. There are 6 employed staff and approximately 12 volunteers to operate the Centre. It is open from Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm

There are many services offered to clients including; c

ounselling; literacy and numeracy; addiction support; anger management; support with housing and benefit issues; form filling; job searches; help with CV's; one to one computing; and many more. Each day we offer different activities which build confidence, social interaction and team work.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU

Last week we held our Comedy Night at The Spice Merchant, and what an evening it was. Performing to a sell‑out crowd, we enjoyed a fantastic night of laughter, community spirit, and fundraising.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £607.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes for our raffle, including:
Fortnum & Mason Mini Hamper, Fortnum & Mason Bellini Gift Set (both kindly donated by Air Courier Ltd) voucher for a meal for two at The Spice Merchant, Ornamental bowl, Wellington Country Park vouchers, Cinema vouchers, Aldershot MOT Test Centre – Free MOT, Two joints of meat from Kevin Horn Butcher, Wine, Toiletries and many more wonderful prizes.

Crochet with Crafting Smiles 編織微笑 is back this coming Monday (15th June), and we’re looking forward to welcoming you. Join us from 10:30am–12:00pm for a gentle, creative pause in your day.

Our 1.5 hour session offers a peaceful space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy the soothing rhythm of crochet. Our friendly facilitators will be right there beside you whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned crocheter, everyone is welcome.

⚡ Calling Local Electricians! ⚡
We’re looking for a qualified electrician(s) who would be willing to support us by helping to fit some replacement lights at our centre.

Thanks to the generosity of Donate a Light, we have been donated replacement light fittings — now we just need some expert help to install them.

1:1 Employment and Training sessions @ The Vine Centre

The My Space team offers a wide range of support, including identifying skills, writing CVs, support with applying for roles online, and practising interview techniques.
We also have free computer and internet access available for independent use.

Looking to improve digital confidence? The Vine Centre offers access to an excellent online learning programme 'Learn My Way' - get in touch to find out more!

My Space runs every Monday from 10am to 4pm - appointments required.

We’re adjusting the session times for our Mental Health Drop‑In to make it easier for you to access support when you need it.

Starting Monday 8th June, the drop‑in will run every Monday from 5pm–7pm.

Join us for a safe, supportive space where you can access the help you need, when you need it.

Our drop‑in sessions ensure people receive the right support at the right time, reducing the risk of issues escalating.
