This is dedicated to our lovely Singing Group

As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, our wonderful Singing Group took on 30 songs in 30 minutes.

Together, they raised an incredible £2,018, a truly incredible contribution to Maggie's Lanarkshire.

This amazing donation will allow us to continue supporting people affected by cancer in Lanarkshire. Thank you to everyone involved for making this so special

This is dedicated to Team Doctor!

The amazing Caroline, along with her children Murray and Emily, took on the Kelpies Experience as their annual fundraising challenge for Maggie’s Lanarkshire, raising an outstanding £1,060 for our centre.

After conquering the Zip Slide the Clyde last year, Caroline and Emily were ready for their next adventure, and this time Murray bravely joined the team too.

Caroline has previously received support from Maggie’s Lanarkshire and chose to give back in such a courageous and inspiring way. We feel incredibly lucky to have the continued support of Caroline, Emily, and now Murray as well.

Thank you, Team Doctor, you truly are amazing!

SOUP AND SUPPORT - EVENING SUPPORT FOR FAMILY MEMBERS

WEDNESDAY 24th June 5.30pm-7pm

Do you have a friend or family member with a cancer diagnosis? If so, come along to our monthly evening support session on Wednesday 24th June at 5.30pm and enjoy a bowl of soup, speak to others in a similar situation and get support from a Cancer Support Specialist.

We ask that you 'book your bowl' so we know how many pots to have on by contacting the centre on 01236 771199 or emailing [email protected]

FATIGUE WORKSHOP - WEDNESDAY 24th JUNE 3-4.30pm

Are you experiencing cancer related fatigue? Come along to our fatigue workshop to improve your understanding and learn how to manage fatigue better.

This workshop will be facilitated by a Cancer Support Specialist and acknowledge how challenging fatigue can be and explore strategies which may help.

Tuesday 23rd June 2pm-3.30pm

Are you on hormone therapy for prostate cancer? If so, this information session is for you! We will discuss the common side effects of this treatment including hot flushes, mood changes and sexual health and intimacy and also lesser known implications on heart and bone health.

This is dedicated to the fabulous Ginslinging Mavericks!

This amazing trio hosted a fantastic line dancing event at Ebenezer Church Hall in Airdrie, raising a brilliant £300 for Maggie’s Lanarkshire

It was so lovely to meet Georgina, Bernadette and Martha and hear more about the joy they bring to their local community through their line dancing classes and events.

They chose to support Maggie’s after Bernadette was recently supported by our centre - such a kind gesture.

What a truly wonderful group of ladies - we feel so lucky to have your support.
