Bear Necessities We are a charitable organisation who gift essential baby and children items to families within the local community who need support.

We also deliver a programme of free classes and activity groups for babies and children up to pre-school age.

Can you help?

We have once again ran out of highchairs. If you have one you would like to gift to another family then please drop it off to us at Unit 2, 10 Saline Street, Airdrie, ML6 9BE.

We are open Monday to Friday from 10 am until 12 noon.

We have limited spaces available for out 10 am Baby Massage class that starts on Thursday 9 June 2026. This is a five week block and will end on Thursday 9 July 2026.

Our Baby Massage class is free. All classes are held at Bear Necessities, Unit 2, 10 Saline Street, Airdrie, ML6 9BE.

Its Volunteers Week - a week to celebrate all the volunteers that make a difference in our communities and our very own amazing volunteers at Bear Necessities.

From sorting donation, preparing referrals, helping at classes and attending events, our volunteers make a real difference every day. Their support helps ensure that our local children and families receive the essentials they need, when they need them most.

We couldn't do without them.
