🎉🥾💻 WE DID IT! 💻🥾🎉

After over 19 miles, countless steps, a lot of determination, plenty of snacks and a few aching muscles, the Trek for Tech team have officially made it to Leeds! 🙌

Today, Mrs Griffin, Miss Shoesmith, Mrs Callen, Mrs Cruse and Mrs Wright completed their challenge along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, raising money to help provide new technology for the children of Addingham Primary School.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved, but even more grateful for the amazing support we have received from our families, friends, colleagues and wider community. Every donation, share, message of encouragement and cheer along the way helped keep us going when our legs wanted to stop!

This challenge was never really about the miles. It was about investing in our children’s future and helping provide the technology they need to learn, grow and succeed.

🥾💻 TREK FOR TECH UPDATE! 💻🥾

We’ve officially passed the 5.5-mile mark and the Trek for Tech team are still smiling… mostly! 😄

Mrs Griffin, Miss Shoesmith, Mrs Callen, Mrs Cruse and Mrs Wright set off this morning from Silsden and are making great progress on their journey to Leeds, all in aid of raising funds for new technology for the children at Addingham Primary School.

We’ve enjoyed some beautiful canal-side scenery, plenty of laughs and lots of encouragement along the way. The feet are holding up, the snacks are disappearing fast, and the determination to reach Leeds is stronger than ever!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far through donations, messages and shares. Your kindness is keeping us going when the legs start to complain!

🚶‍♀️💙 WE’VE SET OFF! 💙🚶‍♀️

Today a team of staff from Addingham Primary School are taking on our Trek for Tech challenge, walking from Silsden to Leeds along the canal to help raise funds for much-needed new technology for our pupils.

Our school ICT suite has reached the end of its life and we’re working hard to raise money for new devices that will benefit children across the school for years to come.

Every mile we walk today is for the children of Addingham Primary, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any support from our local community.

⏰🥾 THIS TIME TOMORROW WE’LL HOPEFULLY Be AT HOME - FEET UP! 🥾⏰

Tomorrow morning, the Trek for Tech team will set off from Silsden and begin our 18-mile challenge along the canal to Leeds.

We’ll be walking to raise money for new Chromebooks and technology for the children of Addingham Primary School, helping ensure every child has access to the tools they need to learn and thrive.

We’ve already been blown away by the support from our families, friends and wider community. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

🥾💻 TREK FOR TECH IS TOMORROW! 💻🥾

Tomorrow, a team of Addingham Primary School staff will be taking on the challenge of walking from Silsden to Leeds along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to raise money for new technology for our children.

We’re hoping to complete nearly 18 miles, fuelled by determination, snacks and probably a few painkillers by the end! 😆

Our goal is to raise funds for new Chromebooks and ICT equipment, giving our pupils the technology they deserve and helping them develop the digital skills they’ll need for the future.

Lovely event for the whole family this Sat, FAPS are running the bouncy castles and money raised will go towards the ICT suite.
