llkley & District Good Neighbours was first set up in the 1970's. It comprises a team of local volunteers managed from the Ilkley office of Keighley & Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action. We are here to help residents in the area by offering practical assistance where it is needed. Good Neighbours is a small charity which operates a range of schemes, constantly striving to develop the service to

improve the lives of our most vulnerable members of the community. We are always willing to start and develop a scheme where we have established there is a community need. We believe in the power of community action to make a difference in people's daily lives. For each of our schemes we raise a team of volunteers who are willing to help others in their community in a number of ways. Our Home & Garden Assist venture is the arm of our organisation which deals with helping people out around the house. It is composed of a band of DIYers and gardeners who visit homes in Ilkley and district to tidy gardens, change light-bulbs and much more. What a morning! Thank you so much to everyone who supported us and who donated and most importantly a HUGE thank you to everyone who took the plunge!

We'll be doing it all again next year so watch this space... see you there Robbie Moore MP!

Don't worry it's not too late to join in. Come and find us up at White Wells tomorrow morning.

Lots of dippers are booked in for the 10-10:30 slot so come a bit later to avoid the queue.

So who is getting excited about dipping in the freshest, cleanest water fed straight from Ilkley Moor?

Perhaps this has been on your bucket list for quite some time so why not take the plunge now and support a local charity at the same time.

Only a few more days until our Dip & Donate event at White Wells. We are delighted that Robbie Moore MP, a long-time supporter of the charity and pictured last year, has offered to dip again this year.

Whatever your political persuasion, come and join us for a light-hearted morning at the Bath House and enjoy a quick dip, all for the benefit of local older people.

Your donation will support our befriending and shopping schemes, our friendship group and our vital dementia support services.
