Did you spot our hard-working trustees, Stephen and John, and invaluable supporter, Sheila, at yesterday's Ilkley Real Markets raising awareness of what we do and hoping to inspire the community to share their time and cash with us?!

What a fabulous afternoon we all had on Saturday at the annual Over 90s party, even the sun shone for us!

As with all such events, it was a team effort and high praise goes to everyone who helped make this event so special.

Thanks goes to the wonderful 1224 (Wharfedale) Squadron, the enthusiastic Kate Stevens with Moornotes Community Choir, Maz at for the colourful balloons, David Atkinson for the beautiful piano-playing, Jack Shuttleworth for these gorgeous pictures of the event, Subrosa volunteers for giving their time and Ilkley Community Transport for making sure guests made it to and from the event safely.

Thanks also to Isabel Ashman - Ilkley Town Crier, Deputy Lord Lieutenant Suzanne Watson, Robbie Moore MP and Ilkley Mayor Damian Kearns and Lady Mayoress Hilary Oliver for their attendance and willingness to mingle.. and sing!

We are going to be running the following training course in early October. The IDGN staff team completed this training a couple of years ago (you can spot us in the promotional video!) and it was very powerful. Would you like to attend?
