2 of our club members were competing yesterday in Aberdeen at our Granite City Championships.

Both fought really well and brought back a medal each.

Kara won a bronze in the Girls AA u32
Ivan won Silver in the Boys AA u27

We would like say a HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us in Aberdeen yesterday to compete, spectate, support and volunteer at our Granite City Grand Prix 2026 event.

Congratulations to all the medalists and to everyone who took part. It takes a lot of strength and confidence to step on to the mat, let alone in front of so many people, so a very big well done to you all.

We hope you all had safe travels home and hopefully we will see you all again next year on the same weekend.

⏰We are now on the countdown to the Granite City Grand Prix. 🥋

We are looking forward to picking up 2 of these beauties 🚚 on Friday from the excellent staff at Jim Reid - sales l service l hire to move the 500 mats from Aboyne and Aberdeen Judo Club to Aberdeen Sports Village and back again 💪
