Time is moving fast towards our Big Day!

We really need your help…..
We are looking for individuals and businesses to help us by donating a raffle or auction prize for our Prosecco Picnic fundraising afternoon that’s being held on Friday 31st July in Aboyne Games Marquee.

Full recognition will be given to you via our socials and on the day 🥰

All proceeds raised will be donated to a wide group of charities who work hard to deliver meaningful initiatives that support mental health & wellbeing in the heart of our community. This includes: Youngatheartdeeside Aboyne Highland Games Crathie Opportunity Holidays Together For Teens
Finzean Friendship Club Aboyne Green Spaces and Finzean Craft & Blether Group.

🥂 Hello from the 2026 Aboyne Prosecco Picnic team! 🥂

We’re Caroline, Fiona, Angela and Ann-Marie, and we’re delighted to be working together to bring you this year’s Aboyne Prosecco Picnic in partnership with Aboyne Highland Games

As volunteers, we’re passionate about creating a fun, welcoming event that brings our community together while raising money for some fantastic local causes.

We’re already busy behind the scenes planning a day full of laughter, entertainment, friendship and, of course, a lot of fun!

Thank you for your continued support of our event.

Whether you’ve attended before or are joining us for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you and share another special day together. 🥂✨

🥂 We are delighted to announce the main beneficiaries of the Aboyne Prosecco Picnic 2026 💛

✨ Aboyne Highland Games Aboyne Highland Games
50% of the funds raised will help support future participation in Highland Games activities within our community. This will include support with equipment, training resources and opportunities for those who may otherwise be unable to take part — not only in dance and music, but also in light and heavy events.

✨ Young at Heart Deeside Youngatheartdeeside
Funds raised will fully fund their Christmas Cheer Care Packages for around 350 local recipients this year, helping bring support, kindness and festive cheer to members of our community who need it most.

We are also proud to support a number of other local charities and community groups with smaller contributions, helping make a positive difference across our wider community 💛

Thank you all.🥰 Every bit of support received through the Prosecco Picnic helps us give back to causes that matter locally 🙌 🥂✨

Final groups to each receive £500 were Aboyne Scouts, Aboyne Craft Club and The Friends of Aboyne Hospital

Congratulations everyone. All very well deserving groups.

Finally, Aboyne Highland Games were thrilled to hand over donations to these wonderful local groups. Games Secretary Lydia Rattray, supported by the Aboyne Games Prosecco Picnic team, presented contributions to 1st Aboyne Scout Group represented by Kirsten Cassie and Bernie Cassie, Aboyne Craft Club represented by Sue Bromley and Ann Faulds, and Friends of Aboyne Hospital represented by Caroline Littlejohn. These groups do so much for our community, and we are proud to support their work.

We would also like to recognise the Aboyne Games Prosecco Picnic Committee for organising the event, which raised an outstanding £13,500. This is a significant amount, and we are grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and helped achieve such an impressive total.

2025 was one of our best Games yet, and we are truly grateful for the generosity, support, and enthusiasm of everyone involved. A heartfelt thank you to all who helped make this year so special. You are what makes Aboyne Highland Games unforgettable.
