An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Staff Nurse to join the dynamic nursing team within Aboyne Hospital. Working within the GP acute/rehab ward. There will be scope to build upon existing knowledge and experience as well continuing to develop professionally.

**GOOD CAUSE???**

We raise +/- £1000 for a good cause every charity quiz night we host.....Our marvellous quiz master - Sara - is looking forward to hosting the next quiz night in March. We are looking for a worthy local cause to support. We will staff, provide some prizes, host and sell some tickets - ticket sales and raffle organisation are also the responsibility of the beneficiaries.

Last Saturday we were very fortunate to receive this very generous donation from Aboyne Prosecco Picnic & Aboyne Highland Games.
All donations we receive are greatly appreciated so that we can support all patients & staff using the hospital 😀

So important to keep our community hospitals. Please share & come along to one of these events,

We want to hear from you about how you use your local Community Hospital!
Aberdeenshire is fortunate to have 9 Community Hospitals delivering a wide range of services to people across the area and we would like to know your thoughts and experiences of using our hospitals and the services delivered.
To make sure we are using the resources we have in the best way possible we are undertaking a strategic review of our Community Hospitals and will be holding 9 events - and we'd love to see you at one of them!

The review was agreed to allow us to build a strategic delivery plan for how we deliver community-based health services for our population over the coming years. There was no budget savings attached to this review other than a 2.5% budget reduction which is a standard saving applied across all budgets.

THE END OF THE LINE - Number 6 and the last of the Hospital Garden outdoor seating refurbishments safely returned home yesterday. We gave this one a pastel shade finish called "Warm Stone". We are so fortunate in Aboyne to have such a lovely, quiet area at the Hospital to relax, enjoy and reflect on life with relatives, friends, hospital staff and even strangers. I am sure all visitors will appreciate the efforts of "The Friends of Aboyne Hospital" who oversee this facility.
PS. We uplifted the poorly table and Birdie house and will get to work on those shortly.
