We’re excited to share what Project 61 has been working on — and on 20th September, we get to celebrate the launch of their FIRST ALBUM featuring 10 ORIGINAL SONGS!

For us at Encounter Church, this is more than an album launch. It’s about creating a space where gifts can grow, songs can be written, voices can be heard, and ultimately Jesus can be made known through music.

And this is only Chapter One.

We’re believing Project 61 will become a platform for more songs, more artists, more creativity and more opportunities to reach ONE MORE.

So Encounter family… you already know what to do!
Don’t just LIKE the poster.
Don’t just SHARE the poster.
Don’t just say “Powerful 🔥🔥🔥” in the comments…

SUNDAY AT ENCOUNTER — 10AM!

Tomorrow we’re talking EVANGELISM: “What Kind of Vessel Are You?”

Come as you are — happy, tired, confused, hungry, hurting, excited… there’s room for you. We’re simply going to gather as family, worship Jesus, hear His Word and enjoy the presence of God together.

⚠️ SMALL WARNING: Your Lead Servant may be a little extra crazy tomorrow. 💙💛 His school is THROUGH TO THE FINALS, so he’s currently operating somewhere between “Praise the Lord” and “GRAMMAR TU GA!”

But beyond all the fun, our prayer is simple: that somebody encounters Jesus tomorrow. That somebody finds hope. Somebody comes home. Somebody leaves different from how they walked in.

Bring a friend. Bring the family. Bring that one person you’ve been meaning to invite.

⏰ 10AM
💙💛 ENCOUNTER CHURCH
🏺 Come ready. Come expecting. Come as you are.

Let’s enjoy the presence of God together.

SEE YOU TOMORROW!

Church isn’t just a place you go — it’s a family you grow with.

Watching online can feed you, but fellowship strengthens you. Sometimes the encouragement, prayer, hug, conversation, or breakthrough you need is waiting in the room.

Rest is important, but isolation is not always rest. We were never created to walk through life alone.

Tomorrow, Sunday 9 August, find a church where there is love, truth, encouragement, and room for you to belong. Show up tired. Show up messy. Show up as you are.

You may walk in needing encouragement and discover that your presence was the encouragement someone else needed.

Don’t just watch church. Be part of a family. If you can't find one then reach out and tell us where you at so we can find one closer to you.

**Find your people. Find fellowship. Find a place to grow. ❤️**

Today our hearts are full.

A huge **THANK YOU** to our incredible **Encounter Church Evangelism Team** for serving refreshments to the British Army soldiers walking from **Lautoka to Verata** as part of the **Say No to Drugs Campaign**.

You may have simply seen food, drinks, and smiling faces—but we saw the Gospel in action. ❤️ Sometimes the greatest act of evangelism isn't standing behind a pulpit; it's serving others with love, kindness, and no expectation of anything in return.

To the **British Army soldiers**, thank you for your commitment, sacrifice, and for taking on this incredible journey to raise awareness against drugs. Your determination is inspiring, and we pray that God will continue to strengthen every step you take and use your efforts to bring hope and positive change to communities across Fiji.

Together, we're reminded that changing a nation begins with people who are willing to serve.

**One More Matters.**
**Love Loud.**
May God bless everyone who made today possible. 🇫🇯❤️

Pregnancy changes more than a woman’s body—it changes her whole world. And in that moment, one of the greatest gifts a man can give is not his opinion, but his presence.

This short clip is part of a challenge Ps Ritchie shared with the men in the room at a book launch called “The Silent Cry”. It’s stories of abortion in Fiji and what young women go through.

PR says real strength isn’t walking away when life gets complicated. Real strength is standing beside the woman carrying your child, listening to her fears, sharing the burden, and reminding her that she doesn’t have to face it alone.

Many women facing an unexpected pregnancy are battling fear, uncertainty, pressure, and loneliness. Sometimes the words and actions of the father can make all the difference. Let’s be the kind of men who protect, encourage, pray, provide, and love—even when it’s difficult.

Abortion is not just a women’s issue. It’s a men’s issue too. We all have a responsibility to create a culture where life is valued, where women are supported, and where families are strengthened.

Our prayer is that this message doesn’t bring condemnation—it brings conviction, compassion, and courage. Ma we raise young men who step up instead of stepping away.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

If this message speaks to you, share it with another man. Together, let’s raise a generation of men who lead with courage, love deeply, and choose responsibility.

The Encounter Worship Team shared a beautiful special number, “Jesus, It Is You” by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

What a powerful reminder that in every season, every battle, every blessing, and every moment of uncertainty — it is still Jesus.

As you watch and listen, take a moment to really hear the words. Let the lyrics minister to your heart and remind you where your hope, strength, peace, and salvation come from.

May this song bless you, encourage you, and point your heart back to the One who has never failed.

Jesus, it is You.

Sunday Sermon Summary | The Macedonian Call
Acts 16:6–10
Shared by Sister Mela Mataitoga

Sunday’s message reminded us that sometimes God may close certain doors, but that does not mean He has stopped working. Many times, He is redirecting us to the right door, the right people, and the right purpose.

The Macedonian Call was not just a call for Paul to go somewhere new. It was a call to partnership, obedience, and spiritual awareness. People were waiting for help, hope, and the Gospel.

This summary is important because it gives us something practical to carry into the week. Not just something we heard on Sunday, but something we can live out from Monday to Saturday.

As we go to work, school, stay at home, serve our families, or meet people throughout the week, let’s ask:

Lord, who are You calling me to help?
Where are You guiding my steps?
What door are You asking me to walk through in obedience?

May we be available, sensitive, and obedient this week.

Be available. Be sensitive. Be obedient.
