📖✨ Something exciting is coming...

This July, churches, families, schools, and communities across Fiji will unite around one Book that continues to transform lives, the Word of God.

As we prepare for Bible Month 2026, we invite you to begin praying, planning, and partnering with us as we celebrate the power of Scripture and its impact on our nation.

Through Public Bible Readings, Scripture Engagement activities, community outreach, and special events, we will be reminded that God's Word is alive, relevant, and for everyone.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." – Psalm 119:105

Stay tuned for more details, resources, and opportunities to get involved.

Last Saturday, Sunday School teachers gathered at Lami Methodist Church for a meaningful time of training, equipping, and encouragement. It was a blessed opportunity to strengthen those who faithfully serve in shaping young hearts with God’s Word.

Through shared learning, discussions, and practical tools, the training aimed to empower teachers to engage children more effectively and nurture a deeper love for Scripture.

We thank God for the commitment of every teacher who attended and continues to serve with dedication in building the next generation in faith.

The Fiji Mission team was honoured to visit the Chaplain of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces to discuss important logistics and preparations for the upcoming Bible Month Public Bible Reading. This meaningful time of collaboration helps strengthen our shared commitment to placing God’s Word at the centre of our nation.

As we move forward in planning, we humbly ask for your prayers over all Bible Month 2026 programmes—that every arrangement, partnership, and public reading will be guided by God’s wisdom and will touch many lives across Fiji.

God continues to open doors for the Fiji Mission team as we visited the Valelevu Methodist Circuit to share about the work God is doing through Fiji Mission and the training opportunities available to equip the church for greater impact in community outreach.

It was a powerful time of awareness, encouragement, and connection as we shared how the church can be strengthened and mobilised to reach people beyond the church walls with the love of Christ.

We also introduced the vision for the upcoming Bible Month Public Bible Reading initiative — a simple yet powerful way of placing God’s Word at the centre of daily life and community spaces. The Valelevu location is uniquely strategic, situated along the busy Suva–Nausori corridor, where thousands pass by each day, and right across from the Fiji National University campus. This presents a meaningful opportunity for the church to publicly share Scripture with students, workers, and families in their everyday journey.

We are truly encouraged by the openness, hunger, and willingness of the church to explore new ways of engaging their community with the Bible.

Please continue to pray for the Fiji Mission team and the Valelevu Methodist Circuit as we step forward together in faith, believing that God will use these doors to bring His Word closer to many lives.

The Fiji Mission team gathered once again for our monthly prayer meet — a special time of fellowship, sharing updates, encouragement, and praying together for the work of the ministry. The team joined in from Sydney, Davuilevu Theological College, Dilkusha, Nabalebale in Vanua Levu and the Fiji Mission team at Bible House.

This month’s gathering was especially meaningful as we dedicated the upcoming Bible Month in July to the Lord. As preparations continue, we pray that Bible Month will be a time of renewed passion for God’s Word, deeper Scripture engagement, and lives transformed through the Bible across our communities and churches.

We thank God for the opportunity to come together in unity and prayer, standing together in faith for the mission ahead.

Please continue to keep Bible Month 2026 in your prayers.

🌏📖 The Bible Society of the South Pacific team is grateful for the opportunity to attend the Christian Mission Fellowship International Pastors Conference at Faith Harvest Church on 7th May 2026.

It was a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, worship, and sharing about the ongoing Bible ministry work across the South Pacific. We thank God for the opportunity to connect with pastors and church leaders who continue to faithfully serve their communities and advance the Gospel throughout Fiji and the Pacific region.

The Bible Society remains committed to partnering with churches through Bible translation, Scripture engagement, literacy, and outreach ministries — helping make God’s Word available, accessible, and meaningful to all people.

Vinaka vakalevu to the CMFI family for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The Fiji Mission team recently visited Mr. Elia Berabi and his boys in Colo-i-Suva.

During the visit, the team spent time with them, listened to their stories, and shared encouragement and care. Such visits are part of ongoing efforts to reach out to vulnerable individuals in our communities, offering hope, relationship, and pathways toward support and restoration.

Please join us in praying for Mr. Elia Berabi and these young men—that they may find safety, healing, and new opportunities for a better future.

The Bible Society of the South Pacific, in partnership with the Fiji Council of Churches, has successfully trained 11 new End-to-End facilitators.

This training brought together representatives from member churches who were invited to take part in equipping this important ministry. The goal is simple but powerful: to help more people engage with Scripture in a meaningful and accessible way.

These newly trained facilitators will now go back into their communities to establish listening groups using Audio Bibles, supported by guided Bible study questions. Through these sessions, participants will be able to hear the Word of God, reflect together, and discuss how Scripture speaks into their daily lives.

The End-to-End initiative continues to open doors for deeper engagement with God’s Word, especially for those who may prefer oral and audio learning. We look forward to seeing how these listening groups grow and strengthen faith communities across Fiji.

Please join us in praying for these 11 facilitators as they begin this journey of sharing, listening, and transformation through Scripture.

🙏📖 FIJI NATIONAL BIBLE FORUM – MARCH PRAYER MEET 📖🙏

The Fiji National Bible Forum continues to serve as a collaborative space for Scripture translation and engagement agencies working together to strengthen Bible ministry in Fiji.

In March, representatives and ministry partners gathered at the Bible Society of the South Pacific Fiji Mission Room for our monthly prayer meet, spending time in fellowship, prayer, and discussion about the ongoing collaboration work taking place throughout Fiji.

These monthly gatherings are an important opportunity to unite in prayer for Bible translation projects, Scripture engagement initiatives, church partnerships, and the many communities across Fiji being impacted through God’s Word.

We thank God for the spirit of unity and partnership among organizations and individuals committed to making Scripture available, accessible, and meaningful to all people in Fiji.
