📍 Laselevu & Udu Villages | Wainimala Mission.

The Bible Society of the South Pacific Fiji Mission Team 1 and Team 2 were privileged to conduct the Trauma Healing Training in Laselevu and Udu over two days.

We are grateful to God for the warm welcome and the encouraging response from everyone who attended. It was inspiring to see participants engage wholeheartedly in the sessions as they discovered how God's Word brings hope, comfort, and healing to life's deepest hurts.

Our prayer is that the lessons learned during the training will continue to strengthen individuals, families, and churches and that those who participated will become channels of God's healing and encouragement within their own communities.

A heartfelt vinaka vakalevu to the village leaders, church leaders, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this training possible. Most importantly, we give all glory and honour to God for His faithfulness and for allowing us to continue sharing His Word across Fiji.

📖 Wainimala Mission Update | Matainasau Village.

We thank God for the successful completion of our **Trauma Healing and Method of Bible Study training in Matainasau Village, Wainimala.

As part of the Bible Society of the South Pacific's Bible Month Mission, Wainimala was chosen as one of our ministry locations to bring God's Word and practical biblical training to rural communities.

Over the two-day training, participants actively engaged in the sessions, learning how God's Word speaks to the challenges they face in their everyday lives. The Trauma Healing lessons provided a safe space for reflection, healing, and hope, while the Method of Bible Study equipped participants with practical tools to study and understand the Bible for themselves.

We are encouraged by the positive response from the community and grateful for their warm hospitality and eagerness to learn. May the seeds planted during these two days continue to bear fruit as God's Word transforms lives and brings lasting hope.

Trauma Healing Training – Wainimala Mission.

The Bible Society of the South Pacific Fiji Mission Team is grateful to be serving the people of the Wainimala District through a Trauma Healing Training, held from 13 to 18 July 2026.

These photos were taken in Sawanikula Village, where the training was successfully conducted over three days. It was a joy to see participants from different Christian denominations coming together to learn and grow in God's Word. We sincerely thank the members of the Methodist Church and the Catholic Church for their active participation and enthusiastic engagement throughout the training.

The Bible Society of the South Pacific believes that this biblical Trauma Healing program will make a lasting difference in the lives of the people of Sawanikula by bringing hope, healing, and restoration through God's Word.

WAINIMALA MISSION 2026
Bible Month Celebration - July

As part of Bible Month Celebration in July, BSSP conducts community outreach for rural area Bible engagement. This year we have chosen Wainimala, Naitasiri for our Bible Month Mission.

The Bible Society of the South Pacific deployed 7 teams on Saturday, 11th July. Working in partnership with the Methodist Church In Fiji, Wasewase o Wainimala , the teams will be covering 11 villages for the 1-week Mission conducting Trauma Healing Training and Methods of Bible Study

We continue to keep our teams in our prayers as they minister to the communities.
