This week, HOC's Coordinator, Magen, including other members engaged in Rainbow Pride Foundation 4 LGBTQ Rights and Equality in Fiji 's Peer Outreach Work Training. Participants from Savusavu, Taveuni, Bua, Nabouwalu, Seaqaqa and Labasa attended the training.

The sessions focused on HIV and sexual health, peer-led prevention messaging, safeguarding, outreach communication practices and much more. The session also highlighted the need to bridge the knowledge gaps between grassroot communities and healthcare service providers.

These sessions specifically target margalised communities. HOC is grateful for the continuous recognition of the needs of underprivileged communities who are disproportionately impacted by structural and systemic inequalities.

HOC thanks its partners for the continuous engagement in these spaces and the opportunity to be able equip pur members with the skills to be able to create change in communities we work in.
