House of Colours - Fiji is proud to stand as a member of the Fierce Service Workers Alliance, a coalition dedicated to advancing the rights, safety, and dignity of s*x workers across our region.

As an organisation rooted in the belief that every person deserves to live free from discrimination and harm, our membership in FSWA reflects a natural alignment of values. The fight for LGBTIQ+ rights and the fight for s*x workers' rights are not separate struggles. They share the same foundation: the right to exist, to be safe, and to be treated with dignity.

S*x workers in Fiji and across the Pacific face significant barriers to healthcare, legal protection, and social inclusion. The Fierce Service Workers Alliance works to change that, and House of Colours is committed to being part of that work.

We believe in a Fiji where no one is left behind.

There's No Turning Back!

Proposal by the GCC will take us back to 1900's. We've faced enough of discrimination and deaths to the members of our community. There's other pressing issues that the country needs to prioritize then this.

This week, HOC's Coordinator, Magen, including other members engaged in Rainbow Pride Foundation 4 LGBTQ Rights and Equality in Fiji 's Peer Outreach Work Training. Participants from Savusavu, Taveuni, Bua, Nabouwalu, Seaqaqa and Labasa attended the training.

The sessions focused on HIV and s*xual health, peer-led prevention messaging, safeguarding, outreach communication practices and much more. The session also highlighted the need to bridge the knowledge gaps between grassroot communities and healthcare service providers.

These sessions specifically target margalised communities. HOC is grateful for the continuous recognition of the needs of underprivileged communities who are disproportionately impacted by structural and systemic inequalities.

HOC thanks its partners for the continuous engagement in these spaces and the opportunity to be able equip pur members with the skills to be able to create change in communities we work in.

Members of the House of Colours - Fiji (HOC) including the HOC Coordinator, Magen, engaged in a 3-day training on Psychological First Aid (PFA). The training was facilitated by ARUKA Fiji .

The training focused on equipping its participants with PFA, trauma healing practices, recognising triggers, referral pathways and much more. The participants also met and networked with various stakeholders that work in these areas.

HOC is grateful to be a part of this training and to be able to effectively contribute to wider efforts of community healing and well-being.
