There’s another side to Mykonos, away from the rush.

Set on the hillside of Agios Stefanos, this intimate boutique hideaway brings together sea-view suites, private pools, a sun-soaked central pool and a relaxed Kouzina serving Greek and Mediterranean flavours.

The mood is easy and personal, with Mykonos Bay stretching out below and the island’s livelier side still within easy reach.

The kind of place that makes staying in just as tempting as going out.

In a fairytale land in Crete, The Revery, unfolds beneath wide Mediterranean skies, surrounded by pink sun-washed landscapes, raw textures and warm Cretan light.

Step outside and Athens is already happening.

Set in historic Psyrri, Monastiraki is only minutes away, with the Acropolis, Plaka and some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks close enough to explore on foot. But the neighbourhood has a character of its own, with old workshops, street art and a lively mix of places to eat and drink.

A good address for seeing Athens beyond the postcards.

Between Sea & City
Athens doesn’t always have to mean staying in the city.

In Vouliagmeni, sandy beaches and the Aegean are only a few steps away, while the Acropolis, galleries and neighbourhoods of central Athens are around half an hour from the coast. Add nearby Glyfada, the marina and long seafood lunches by the water, and suddenly a city break feels a lot more like summer.

The best of Athens, with the sea much closer.

There’s a quiet confidence in spaces that don’t compete with their surroundings.

Soft curves, natural stone, and warm timber frame interiors where light moves freely from morning to dusk. Each suite opens effortlessly to its own private pool, blurring the line between indoors and the Aegean beyond. Here, architecture isn’t about making a statement. It’s about creating a sense of ease.

Mykonos, minus the rush.

On the island’s southwestern coast, Glyfadi is a small cove without the beach clubs and crowds found elsewhere. The water is steps away, the Aegean fills the horizon, yet Ornos, Psarou and the energy of Mykonos Town are all within easy reach.

Close enough to join the party. Secluded enough to forget there is one.

What if the hotel itself became part of the cultural itinerary? 🎨

For a new generation of travellers, art and design are no longer details added to a stay — they can be the reason to choose it.

Across Europe, hotels are increasingly blurring the boundaries between hospitality, art, architecture and culture. From curated collections and artist collaborations to buildings that feel like galleries themselves, the stay becomes part of the destination.

And this is exactly where boutique hospitality has the power to stand apart: not simply displaying art, but creating a point of view.

Because the most memorable hotels don’t just give you somewhere to sleep. They give you something to discover.

Would you choose a hotel because of its art?

Built with the feeling of a small Cycladic village.

Sloped walls and clustered forms take their cues from the historic Castle of Kimolos, while whites, warm neutrals and natural textures bring a softer contemporary character inside. Twenty suites unfold across the property, each positioned to make the Aegean part of the architecture itself.

A beautiful reminder that inspiration can come from what has been there for centuries.

“A pool is a forgotten canvas,” says artist and designer Alex Proba

She’s spent years proving exactly that — transforming pools into artworks, from painted murals shimmering beneath the water to permanent glazed ceramic tile installations. It’s a vision that echoes a creative lineage of artists like Hockney and Picasso, who also saw the swimming pool as more than just a functional space.

And that is the thought worth pausing on.

Almost every hotel has a pool, yet so few treat it as an opportunity for expression, identity and storytelling. What is often seen as just another amenity could become the most memorable visual moment on the property — the space guests photograph, talk about and remember.

What if hotels started seeing pools not simply as blue rectangles, but as canvases?
