في الذكرى السنوية الثالثة لاندلاع النزاع المسلح في #السودان في 15 أبريل 2023، جددت مؤسسة ماعت للسلام دعوتها إلى المجتمع الدولي، بما في ذلك الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة والهيئات الأممية والمنظمات الدولية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، لاتخاذ إجراءات عاجلة وحاسمة لوضع حد لمعاناة المدنيين، في ظل استمرار الانتهاكات الجسيمة التي ترقى في بعض الحالات إلى جرائم حرب وجرائم ضد الإنسانية، مع التأكيد على ضرورة ضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا.
وأكدت "ماعت" أن الأزمة في السودان لا تزال تُصنَّف ضمن أسوأ الأزمات الإنسانية عالميًا، حيث تجاوز عدد النازحين 14 مليون شخص، من بينهم نحو 9 ملايين نازح داخليًا و5 ملايين لجأوا إلى خارج البلاد، نتيجة استمرار الحرب. كما يعاني أكثر من 21 مليون شخص من انعدام الأمن الغذائي الحاد، بينهم 6.3 مليون في مستويات طوارئ حرجة، وسط انهيار شبه كامل في أنظمة الصحة والمياه والصرف الصحي.

On the third anniversary of the outbreak of armed conflict in , on 15 April 2023, Maat for Peace, renewed its call to the international community, including UN member States, UN bodies, major international organizations, and civil society organizations, to put an end to the suffering of civilians from serious physical violations that sometimes escalate into war crimes and crimes against humanity, while ensuring that humanitarian assistance reaches the most vulnerable groups.
Sudan’s crisis remains among the worst humanitarian crises in the world. More than 14 million people have been displaced, 9 million internally and 5 million externally, because of the war.
At the same time, more than 21 million people are facing acute food insecurity, including 6.3 million in a Grade Four emergency, amid a near-total collapse of health systems and water and sanitation services.
