Art is more than just a hobby; it's a powerful tool of influence. As our campaign comes to an end, we are proud to share with you some of the pieces from the HAS Art Fair at the 3rd NGA in Aswan.
These passionate, brilliant minds were able to creatively demonstrate the struggles PLHIV go through daily while highlighting the importance of advocacy through a variety of artistic methods.
We thank all participants for sharing their priceless talent with us and with the world.

It is always important to remember the great efforts that go into making change happen. We are constantly inspired by the ways other activists have taken real steps toward our shared goal.

But the fight is not over yet. We, as future healthcare workers, must contribute by spreading awareness, as it is the first step toward creating real impact.

Become the voice for those who cannot speak.

Today, being a person with HIV is often treated as a death sentence in our society. We live in a world where stigma is a heavier burden than the disease itself. The shackles that hold back brave warriors are not their weaknesses, but the looks they receive.

Being a healthcare worker goes beyond saving lives; it also means restoring hope to those who have lost it. Stigma is born from ignorance and a lack of humanity. People living with HIV deserve to be seen and treated as human beings, not reduced to their diagnosis.

Become part of the movement and help put an end to the suffering of PLHIV

Understanding HIV/AIDS is the first step toward understanding how PLHIV face the world every day.

Prevention is better than cure. Being safe, educated, and aware is the first step toward creating a safer community where the question is not how can we avoid it, but how can we help.

It is our job as future healthcare workers to learn and educate. So start by sharing with us which fact shocked you the most, and help spread awareness through compassion.

What began in 1983 as a small gathering of people honoring lives lost to AIDS has grown into one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for HIV awareness, remembrance, and hope.

Over the decades, the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial has united communities across the globe, to remember those we’ve lost, stand with those living with HIV, and renew our commitment to ending stigma, inequality, and new infections.

Today, we honor the past, recognize the progress, and continue the fight for a future free of HIV-related stigma.
