ASU Racing Team Egyptian Engineering students turning racing science into reality!

Unsatisfied with the limited experience offered in books and references, the team was built in 2010 at the faculty of Engineering – Ain Shams University by a group of students who shared the passion of learning and innovating in the Car industry domain. They have great faith that the Egyptian youth has motivation and potentials high enough to actually achieve a difference in a domain with such pro

mising influences on the economy. We mainly compete in the following international competitions:
1- Formula Student UK
2- Shell Eco-marathon
3- EVER - Electric Vehicle Rally

تم تأسيس الفريق عام 2010 بكلية الهندسة بجامعة عين شمس علي يد مجموعة من الطلبة الذين جمعهم شغف التعليم والتطوير فى مجال السيارات وليس فقط الخبرة المحدودة التى توفرها لهم الكتب والمراجع، مؤمنين بأن الشباب المصرى يمتلك من الإمكانيات والدوافع ما يؤهله إلى إحداث فارق فى هذا المجال الذى من المتوقع أن يكون له عظيم الأثر على الاقتصاد.
يشارك الفريق في العديد من المسابقات على مستوى العالم وهي :

Proud to share that ASU ROAR’s R&D sub-team participated in the BARN Challenge this year and achieved 5th place worldwide in this year’s competition and 11th place overall among all 50+ participating teams since 2022! 🚀

The BARN Challenge (Benchmark Autonomous Robot Navigation) is an international robotics competition focused on autonomous navigation in complex and cluttered environments, pushing teams to develop robust perception, planning, and control systems for mobile robots.

What makes this achievement even more special is that the team accomplished it in a 21-day speed run, working nearly every single day to build a complete autonomous navigation system, test it on 300+ different scenarios, and ultimately secure this achievement.
