Closing Ceremony of the 6-Month Women's Literacy Class
The closing ceremony of the 6-month Women's Literacy Class was successfully held in collaboration with Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Ward No. 4.
A total of 26 women enrolled in the program, and 18 women successfully graduated. The class covered Grade 1 level Nepali, English, and Mathematics, helping participants develop essential literacy and numeracy skills for their daily lives.
Through this program, women gained greater confidence in handling everyday tasks such as traveling by public transportation, visiting banks and hospitals, and participating more actively in school meetings with teachers and parents/grandparents.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates and encourage them to continue their learning journey through self-study and lifelong education.
We sincerely thank Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Ward No. 4, the facilitators, and everyone who contributed to the success of this program.
Best wishes to all our graduates for a brighter and more empowered future!

World Day Against Child Labour 2026

The National Child Participation Alliance (NCPA) successfully organized a Panel Discussion and Art Gallery Exhibition on the theme:
“Child Labour Situation: From Policy Formulation to Implementation.”
The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss the current situation of child labour, relevant laws and policies, implementation challenges, and the collective efforts needed to protect and promote children's rights. The art exhibition powerfully reflected the realities faced by children in labour and highlighted the importance of creating a safer, brighter future for every child.

Oneloveoneworld - Children's Aid Nepal is proud to collaborate with like-minded organizations in this important initiative and to showcase artwork created by our talented youth, Sandesh and Sima, whose creativity helped amplify the voices and experiences of children affected by child labour.

Together, let us continue strengthening our commitment to ending child labour through effective policies, meaningful action, and strong collaboration among all stakeholders.
Every child deserves a childhood, education, protection, and opportunities to thrive.

Final Phase of the Six-Month Literacy Class

We are proud to witness the remarkable progress of the women participants. They have acquired the skills to read and write in Nepali. Furthermore, they are now capable of independently writing applications and other necessary documents in Nepali, which has significantly contributed to enhancing their self-confidence and empowerment.

In addition, the Basic Calculation and Basic English classes have further strengthened their confidence and practical skills. The participants are now better equipped to apply these skills in their daily lives, enabling them to communicate more effectively, manage basic calculations, and engage more actively in their communities.

Oneloveoneworld - Children's Aid Nepal organized two “Career Orientation” programs at Saraswati and Vidhya Mandir Schools for students from grades 8 to 10. A total of 16 students participated in the sessions. Among them, 7 students appeared for the Grade 10 examination and today they attended the entrance examination for Grade 11 in the Management stream.

We wish all the students the very best for their results and a bright future ahead.

2026 Strategic Workshop was successfully held on 16th and 17th May 2026 in presence of board members and staff. During the workshop, we reviewed the progress achieved throughout the year, discussed the challenges faced, and explored effective ways forward to address them.

In addition, we also discussed the organization’s strategic planning for the next two years, focusing on sustainable growth, strengthening our impact, and developing strategies to overcome challenges and ensure successful implementation of our goals.
