DESCRIPTION:

On a disc Azure, on a pile Or, a sword point to base, Argent hilt Brown banded on the grip Gray, adorned on the pommel with a precious stone White and on the cross piece to dexter Yellow and to sinister Blue, between in base three lightning bolts radiating bendwise and as many radiating bendwise sinister of the second, all within a diminished bordure Sable. Attached below the disc, a

White scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "SECOND TO NONE" in Black letters. SYMBOLISM:

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The pile symbolizes the aerospace program. The sword suggests the Squadron's warrior spirit. The hilt of the sword holds three precious jewels that embody the unit's strength through diversity. Radiating from the tip of the pile are lightning bolts which represent the Squadron's ability to provide clear, concise and distinct communications in the field
