We are in again! Who else will become a sponsor of this worthy event?

Tabletop gaming industry folks! The Diana Jones Award is once again looking for sponsors for this year’s industry-only event at Gen Con — our 26th year! — which will be held on Wednesday, July 29.

If you or your company is interested, we’d love to have you aboard as a sponsor. Sponsorships are generally $100 for individuals or $250 for companies. You can also contribute to the Diana Jones Award Emerging Designer Program if you like, which is in its sixth year and growing strong.

Early sponsors (as in, those who contact us at [email protected]) by Tuesday, June 9) will receive a mention in the Gen Con program. All sponsors will receive mentions on the DJA website (www.dianajonesaward.org) and at the ceremony, plus the chance to bask in the gratitude of your industry friends.

Please feel free to pass this along to any colleagues you think might be interested. Either way, we hope to see you at the ceremony. An invitation with more particulars will go out as the event nears. Please set aside the date for now. Thanks!

Today we lost the great, gentle, humble, generous Dario Corallo.

He was a single man army of art, design, inspiration and productivity.

His uncountable illustrations and tireless layout work made many of the Ye Booke of Tentacles books, Ian Thomson's original (and recent) Pavis & Big Rubble series and our Tradetalk Magazine possible in the first place.

Tentacles Convention, the German RuneQuest-Gesellschaft e.V. (Chaos Society) and THE KRAKEN owe Dario so very, very much. Our thanks could never be enough.

I like to share a piece of his art that shows just one tiny project I worked on with him from 2016. I asked all the great Glorantha artists of the time if they would contribute a free duck illustration for the Duck Army.

Of course he did. Of course it only took him very little time. Of course it was perfect.
