EMBL Events

EMBL Events Join our world-class courses, conferences and workshops at the forefront of molecular life science.

EMBL's mission is to create a centre of excellence for training in Europe. We support this mission by organising events to strengthen relationships between international scientists and providing a platform to share the latest research developments. We welcome over 7000 participants a year to our practical courses, workshops and conferences across all the six EMBL sites and virtually.

And that's a wrap on 'Transcription and chromatin'! 🧬✨

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a few days of great science, inspiring discussions, and plenty of opportunities to connect.

From exciting talks and lively Q&As to fantastic poster sessions, coffee break conversations, and catching up over social events, it was wonderful to see the transcription and chromatin community come together again (it was 17th edition!).

Thank you to all the speakers, poster presenters, and participants for sharing your research, asking questions, exchanging ideas, and making the meeting what it was. The science was impressive, but it was the conversations, connections and community that really brought it to life 🙌🏼

Already looking forward to the next edition! Until then, keep the discussions going 🤓🫶🏼

After 9 days of learning, sharing, and networking, our course has come to an end. A huge thank you to all our participants, speakers, and organisers for making it such a memorable experience! 🙌

Participants explored how to integrate single-particle analysis and tomography into their research, while gaining insights and skills to innovate cryo-EM methods beyond the state of the art. We hope to see you again soon!
