EMBL Events

EMBL Events Join our world-class courses, conferences and workshops at the forefront of molecular life science.

EMBL's mission is to create a centre of excellence for training in Europe. We support this mission by organising events to strengthen relationships between international scientists and providing a platform to share the latest research developments. We welcome over 7000 participants a year to our practical courses, workshops and conferences across all the six EMBL sites and virtually.

By the end of the course, participants will have a strong understanding of the fundamental principles that underpin high-quality cell sorting, including experimental design, panel setup, controls, validation, and quality assessment. Join us to apply modern best practices confidently in your own research.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the EMBO | EMBL Symposium 'Cellular mechanisms driven by phase separation'. 🦠🔬

Over four days, we had engaging discussions spanning condensates in signalling, genome organisation, disease, and the physical principles underlying intracellular phase transitions – alongside plenty of opportunities to spark new collaborations, reconnect with colleagues, and simply enjoy spending time together as a community.

Special thanks to all organisers and speakers for making the conference such a stimulating and welcoming event 👏🏼

See you all next time?
