Our time in Romania was absolutely incredible. 🇷🇴
Our team split into two groups—one doing construction and the other running a camp—and it was such a privilege to serve in both ways.
It was a busy, fulfilling time, and although we’ve just arrived back in Hainichen, we couldn’t wait to share a little bit about our experience with you.

Summer has arrived, but the mission continues. There is still more to be done—until the whole world knows, right?

This week, we prayed over different teams from our base as they travel this summer to Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and some cities in Germany on outreach. We are going because that is what He called us to do.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

From June 5th to 7th, our team gathered for our staff weekend. It was a wonderful time to strengthen our relationships with one another and be refreshed to continue the work that God has entrusted to our hands.

Why do you pray?

As a base, we’ve been reading Dirty Glory by Pete Greig together, and it has been shifting the way we look at Prayer.
As Pete Greig writes in the book:

"I don’t pray because I’m into prayer. I pray because I’m into Jesus, so we talk. I don’t believe in the power of prayer. I believe in the power of Jesus, so I ask for his help. A lot."

This is how we want to live, less about the "discipline" of prayer and more about the person of Jesus. He is the vision. He is the movement.
