Why do you pray?

As a base, we’ve been reading Dirty Glory by Pete Greig together, and it has been shifting the way we look at Prayer.
As Pete Greig writes in the book:

"I don’t pray because I’m into prayer. I pray because I’m into Jesus, so we talk. I don’t believe in the power of prayer. I believe in the power of Jesus, so I ask for his help. A lot."

This is how we want to live, less about the "discipline" of prayer and more about the person of Jesus. He is the vision. He is the movement.

Building leaders, heart to heart. ❤️🌱

This February, our base was filled with the energy of the PCYFM modular school. We were honored to host these students for two weeks of deep teaching, including a powerful week of the B2B Leadership program.

It was such a blessing to host them for these two weeks. We loved pouring into these leaders, but we were just as impacted by their hearts! Listen to these testimonies to hear more about our time together!

One of the highlights of this last season has been the pioneering work in France. 🇫🇷

For the first time ever, the Foundations for Family Studies (FFS) ran in France. This school welcomed 6 students and 5 children, with 3 staff families, representing 10 nationalities.

We’re grateful for what God did in everyone who stepped away from everyday life to invest in something that will impact generations. And we’re especially thankful for the team who cared for the children with so much love while their parents were in class.

We also want to honor the YWAM Family Ministries team that went to France for their courage and dedication. They built what was needed from the ground up, a kitchen, childcare space, and more, and served with passion to make this school possible. Supported by YWAM Cévennes and YWAM Hainichen, it’s such an encouragement for the YFAM tribe to see a fruitful season of growth come to completion!

The Lord is moving in the Church—in France, and across all of Europe! We see it, and we believe that Jesus is winning!
