Straze has acquired a significant book collection from the renowned writer and futurist Robert Jungk. We are looking for support to:
- Unpack and catalog the books,
- Select the most relevant titles for our library, and
Contribute to the renovation of the library space.
This is also a unique opportunity to explore Robert Jungk’s work, including his influential political methodologies.
Robert Jungk (1913–1994) was an Austrian writer, journalist, historian, and peace activist, best known for his critical work on nuclear weapons and technology. Born into a Jewish family in Berlin on May 11, 1913, jungk faced persecution under the N**i regime, leading himto flee to Paris and later return to Germany to work in a subversive press service. After World War II, he became a prominent voice in the anti-nuclear movement and a pioneer in the field of futurology, advocating for a more humane and sustainable future.
