On World Wish Day, we celebrate the power of a wish 🤍

We asked children from our projects SPORT+ and SKOLA+ in Ukraine about their dreams for the future.

Some dream of becoming doctors.🩺
Some imagine a future as professional volleyball players.🏐
And some wish for something no child should have to ask for: for the war to end. 🕊️

Every wish matters. And every child deserves the chance to see theirs come true.

So let’s listen to their wishes - and do what we can to make them real.

Edit: We accidentally put one of the names wrong. It should be Leo, not Lev. Sorry about that!

𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗼 🏓

Recently, a lively table tennis tournament took place at the Zdybanka Youth Center (.zdybanka ). The event was organized by Tabula Rasa for the Future Generation ( ) and was supported by Science4People ( ). It was a fun and energetic afternoon that brought together children, adults, and everyone in between who loves the game.

The matches were full of excitement, playful competition, and sportsmanship. Seeing participants cheer each other on reminded us why events like this matter: sport connects people, promotes healthy activity, and strengthens community. 🫂

A particular highlight was seeing the founder of S4P, professor Ferenc Krausz, join the games personally. His participation demonstrated his support for S4P’s mission and inspired everyone present, showing that being part of a community and having fun together is just as important as competition. 🤗

Even with a modest number of participants, the day proved how powerful local initiatives and partnerships can be.

We are grateful to everyone who played, cheered, and contributed to such a vibrant atmosphere. We look forward to initiate similar events in the future that bring people together, promote activity, and create lasting connections. 🫶

Today, 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟰, marks a somber anniversary: four years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. 🇺🇦 This escalation continues the conflict that began in 2014 and has defined the lives of millions, particularly since 2022.

Crises and wars like this deprive children and young people of what should be fundamental:
▶️ security
▶️ education
▶️ prospects for a better future

For many, a reliable educational routine has become the exception. Yet 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, fostering resilience, strengthening social cohesion, and laying the groundwork for rebuilding a country. 💪

Since our establishment in 2022, our central focus at Science4People has therefore been on providing reliable educational support. 💡 Around this core, we offer additional programs that support the children’s well-being and personal growth. 🏐🎭

The need remains immense, and many children are still waiting for support. Yet we look ahead with determination and remain by their side - perhaps with your help?
