is a youth association that was founded in North-West Germany and is now located in Bremen, Wiefelstede/Oldenburg and Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

🌳 The name Natur (nature) represents the physical world including all living things as well as the land and the oceans. Kultur (culture) is the totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human w

ork and thought. As an organization, we aim towards being the synergy between these two terms in all that we do. Our activities:
🔸Youth exchanges
🔸Training and networking courses
🔸Short and long term volunteering
🔸Opportunities to work and develop
🔸Community-based projects
🔸Workshops and activities for youth

Our main aims:
🔹 To create and provide international mobilities for young people in Germany.
🔹 To encourage and support young people to go on international mobilities, but also other organizations and NGOs to host young people from all over Europe and the World or to send their members abroad.
🔹 To provide opportunities for young people that will help them become more civically engaged in their local societies.
🔹To create community-based projects and activities, where young people are empowered to address issues that are relevant in our local societies.
🔹To share and promote tolerance, diversity, and understanding among the different cultures in Europe, in our local societies and beyond.

🌍 297 Tage, ein neues Land und unzählige Erinnerungen.

Lea hat ihren ESK-Freiwilligendienst in Nordmazedonien bei .skopje verbracht – und blickt auf ein Jahr voller Reisen, neuer Kulturen, Freundschaften und persönlicher Herausforderungen zurück. 🇲🇰✨

Nicht jeder Moment war einfach und auch das Projekt entsprach nicht immer ihren Erwartungen. Trotzdem hat Lea Erfahrungen gesammelt, die sie noch lange begleiten werden – vom Buchclub über die Arbeit mit Kindern bis hin zu spontanen Reisen durch die Region. 📚🧳

Denn manchmal beginnt das nächste Abenteuer genau dort, wo man den Mut hat, etwas Neues auszuprobieren.

2 weeks. 10 countries. 1 garden. 🌱

Our international Volunteers Team has arrived at KulturHaus Bremen to get their hands dirty! For the next 2 weeks, they’ll be working together to renew our compost, transform our educational garden and create sustainable spaces for the whole community. 🌍

Among their activities, they’re renovating and decorating the chill-out area, creating a welcoming space where the community can meet, connect and spend time together. They’re also giving the garden and vegetable patch a new life, while working on many other hands-on projects around KulturHaus. 🪴🔨

Different countries, cultures and ideas coming together to create something meaningful for the community. 💚

Vom ersten Flug nach Portugal bis zum Abschied nach sieben intensiven Wochen: Ein Freiwilligendienst voller neuer Eindrücke, Herausforderungen und unvergesslicher Begegnungen. 🇵🇹

Neue Arbeitsorte, Waldarbeit, Social Media, Drohnenflüge, Geo-Daten, Wochenendtrips nach Aveiro und Peniche und sogar ein Abstecher nach Madrid – die Zeit bei MONTIS war vielfältiger, als ursprünglich erwartet. 🌿📸

Besonders prägend waren aber die Menschen: andere Freiwillige, das Team vor Ort und all die Begegnungen, die gezeigt haben, wie wichtig Austausch und Gemeinschaft sind. 💛

Am Ende bleibt vor allem eines: viele Erfahrungen, neue Freundschaften und die Gewissheit, dass sich dieser Freiwilligendienst jederzeit wieder lohnen würde.
