10,000 kg goal: reached. 🌊💪
Two days. 144 grinders. One shared mission.

Together with Viessmann and the Germany SailGP Team, we brought the to Sassnitz and you brought the power.

144 of you took on the Grinder Challenge and helped us reach our shared 10,000 kg cleanup goal.
Now it’s our turn: everwave will remove 10,000 kg of waste from waterways in Cambodia. 💙

Thank you to everyone who got on the grinder and became part of the mission – and to our partners for making it happen.

Our everwave Plastic Credit System is among the nominees in the Products category of the Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis.

Plastic Credits help fund the local teams, technology, collection systems and processing infrastructure needed to build long-term waste management solutions – while making the impact measurable and transparent.

We’re incredibly proud to see our work recognised! 💚

Something big is coming to the water this weekend. 🌊⚡

On August 22–23, we’re joining forces with the Germany SailGP Team and Viessmann at the Germany Sail Grand Prix in Sassnitz – turning racing power into impact for cleaner waters.

At the Race for Cleaner Waters, visitors can take on the Grinder Challenge: 30 seconds, as much power as possible, measured in watts. Every contribution brings us closer to one shared mission – 10,000 kg of waste removed from waterways.

Because the biggest environmental challenges need strong teams to tackle them.

🤩 Over 10 Tons Collected

The project started in March, working with households in Sihanoukville to separate their plastic waste. By the end of July, we had collected over 10 tons of plastic. 🏠🗑️

This project is supported by The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Government of Japan and implemented by everwave in partnership with UNDP Cambodia and the Ministry of Environment.

Of the more than 10 tons collected, over 3 tons are PET plastic bottles, and 7 tons are mixed plastics. Want to know what happens next and how the collected plastic is processed? Swipe through the photos to find out! 💡
