Ein einstimmiges Ja zu Demeter Schweiz!
Der Verein für biologisch-dynamische Landwirtschaft und der Schweizerische Demeter-Verband fusionieren zu Demeter Schweiz.
Mit dem einstimmigen Ja der Hauptversammlung vom 21. Mai 2026 entsteht eine Organisation, die die biodynamische Landwirtschaft künftig stärker vereint, professionalisiert und weiterentwickelt. Bereits im April hatten die Mitglieder des Schweizerischen Demeter-Verbands der Fusion zugestimmt.
Demeter Schweiz vereint Menschen und Organisationen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette – von Produzent:innen über Verarbeitung und Handel bis zu den Konsument:innen. Alle können Mitglieder werden! Der jährliche Basisbeitrag ist CHF 100.-.
Ziel ist ein zukunftsfähiges Ernährungssystem im Einklang mit Boden, Pflanze, Tier, Mensch und Kosmos. Präsident Alfred Schädeli betont: „Demeter steht für ein zukunftsfähiges Ernährungssystem, das verantwortungsvoll mit unseren natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen umgeht.“

Un oui unanime pour Demeter Suisse !
L’Association pour l’agriculture biodynamique et l’Association suisse Demeter fusionnent pour devenir Demeter Suisse.
Grâce à l’approbation unanime lors de l’Assemblée générale du 21 mai 2026, une nouvelle organisation voit le jour afin d’unir, de renforcer et de professionnaliser davantage l’agriculture biodynamique en Suisse. Les membres de l’Association suisse Demeter avaient déjà approuvé la fusion en avril.
Demeter Suisse rassemble des personnes et des organisations de toute la chaîne de valeur biodynamique — des producteur·trice·s aux transformateur·trice·s, commerçant·e·s et consommateur·trice·s. Tout le monde peut devenir membre ! La cotisation annuelle de base s’élève à CHF 100.
L’objectif commun est un système alimentaire durable et tourné vers l’avenir, en harmonie avec le sol, les plantes, les animaux, les êtres humains et le cosmos. Le président Alfred Schädeli souligne : « Demeter représente un système alimentaire durable qui prend soin de manière responsable de nos bases naturelles de vie. »

A unanimous yes to Demeter Switzerland!
The Association for Biodynamic Agriculture and the Swiss Demeter Association are merging to become Demeter Switzerland.
With the unanimous approval at the General Assembly of the Demeter Association on May 21, 2026, a new organization is being created to further unite, strengthen, and professionalize biodynamic agriculture in Switzerland. Members of the Swiss Demeter Association had already approved the merger in April.
Demeter Switzerland brings together people and organizations from across the entire biodynamic value chain — from producers and processors to retailers and consumers. Everyone can become a member! The basic annual membership fee is CHF 100.
The shared goal is a future-oriented food system in harmony with soil, plants, animals, people, and the cosmos. President Alfred Schädeli emphasizes:
“Demeter stands for a sustainable food system that responsibly cares for our natural foundations of life.”
