THE WOLFVILLE LEGION BANNER PROGRAM
The Wolfville Legion Branch 74 is pleased to offer once again, for 2026, a non-profit Veteran initiative of recognition and remembrance for Veterans, families and the community.

The Veterans Banner program ensures that loved ones who served and continue to serve are honoured. They will be displayed in the downtown core in Wolfville between October 26 and November 12, 2026.

The banners are full colour, measuring 24” x 48”. They will be 2-sided including the veteran’s photo, full name, branch of military/RCMP, and theatre of service. The colour of the banners will be blue for the Royal Canadian Navy and Royal Canadian Air Force. Red for the Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The price for each banner will be the same as 2025, which is $210.00 taxes included.

We will process 25 banners for 2026 (installation space is limited). For those who would like a banner (s), please submit your name, your contact email, and the name(s) of the veteran(s) to [email protected] no later than June 16, 2026 at 12:00 noon.

Once submissions are received, if necessary, a random draw will select the 25 veterans for 2026. Those that are selected will be sent the application form to complete and return in person to the Wolfville Legion on June 19 between 9am-11am and 2pm-5pm. Remaining submissions will be kept on file for installation as poles become available in 2027.

The Veterans Banner program is a fabulous opportunity to engage the community in honouring and remembering local veterans. We look forward to promoting this heartfelt initiative with you!
