We invite teachers, parents, volunteers, and seniors to be part of this exciting initiative. The Literacy Lounge is a welcoming space where children in Grades 1-6 can engage in enjoyable literacy activities and receive personalized reading and math support from dedicated volunteers. Meanwhile, adults are welcome to use the centre to read, enjoy a weekly puzzle or games, while enjoying complimentary coffee and tea. Don’t miss this chance to explore a variety of art techniques and creative activities—decoupage, watercolor, diamond art, jewelry making, knitting, fabric paint, acrylics on wood, and more!

A fun night for all!

A date for your diary.... Friday Feb 20th! I have booked the Greenwich Community Centre for an evening paint night event, starting at 6.30pm. I'm still finalising the painting, but I wanted to let everyone know because it's a Friday, not the usual Wednesday night!

Come learn about the new EPR program, the changes made and what it means for you and your household. Coffee, tea and lite bites are free will offering. All proceeds go to our open community programing at the Greenwich Community Centre.

Your generous donations have made our space truly enchanting, and we couldn't be more grateful for your support and creativity.

The Greenwich Community Centre would like to thank St. George's Masonic Lodge for their generous contribution of $150 towards our kitchen renovation project. Special thanks to Treasurer Jim Amos for presenting the donation to Hall Committee Member Floyd Priddle. Your support is greatly valued and will help us achieve our renovation goals.

Introducing Community Art O’clock – Your Monthly Creative Escape!

Looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours each month? Art O’clock is a welcoming art club where adults (and kids ages 8+ accompanied by an adult) can explore their creative side.

Join us for two hours of hands-on art and craft experiences—whether you're into watercolour painting, acrylics, postcard making, decoupaging, cross-stitch, jewelry making, designing t-shirts or pouches, knitting, or diamond bead art… we've got something for you!

🗓 Held on the first Saturday of every month, from January to April, at Greenwich Community Centre from 11am to 1 pm, this is your chance to try something new each time. You choose the project you feel like doing, and our facilitator will be there to support beginners and guide the process.

☕ While you create, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with some relaxing jazz music in the background—it’s a cozy, inspiring atmosphere to unwind and make something beautiful.

⚠️ Space is limited to ensure a quality experience for everyone, so be sure to register early.
📍Take home something awesome you’ve made yourself.
💲Cost: $20 per session, or $60 for all 4 sessions (materials included)
