We love this day! International Day of Women and Girls in Science is like our Christmas, or birthday, or any fun day of celebrations! 🎉
If you're in the STEM world, you probably know the statistics. Namely, that women remain under-represented in the STEM fields at around 35% despite concerted efforts to resolve the inequity. Here at Terranaut Club, we reach girls and gender diverse youth at a significant time in their development, exposing them to incredible experiences in science and nature that show them just how cool careers in these fields can be. Oh, and we do it at a pay-what-you-can rate to promote financial accessibility in provinces that struggle with some of the highest rates of childhood poverty in the country.
