🎉 Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – GOCW Pavilion 🎉

May 30th marked a very special milestone for the Greek Orthodox Community of Windsor as we celebrate the official opening of our beautiful Pavilion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This project began through the generosity and vision of the “O Morias” Association, whose donation laid the foundation for what has become a wonderful gathering place for our community. Their support, along with the dedication and hard work of many volunteers, donors, and community members, helped bring this dream to life.

The Pavilion will serve as a place where families and friends can come together to celebrate our faith, culture, traditions, and community spirit for generations to come.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Morias Association and to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and resources to make this project a reality.

May this Pavilion be filled with joy, fellowship, and countless cherished memories.

Σήμερα η Εκκλησία μας 6 Ιουνίου τιμά τις Άγιες 5 Παρθένες Μάρθα, Μαρία, Κυρία ή Κυρά, Βαρέρια ή Βαλέρια και Μαρκία.
Η καταγωγή τους από την Καισάρεια της Καππαδοκίας.
Διδάχτηκαν την Χριστιανισμό και βαπτίστηκαν.
Ήταν σταθερές στην πίστη τους αν και απειλήθηκαν από τους ειδωλόλατρες και βασανίστηκαν με σκληρά βασανιστήρια.
Στο τέλος όμως τις αποκεφάλισαν και τις πέντε μαζί, έτσι παρέδωσαν το πνεύμα τους στον Χριστό.
Ας έχουμε την ευλογία και την βοήθειά τους
εμεις και οι οικογένειες μας και όλος ο κόσμος. Χρόνια πολλά στις εορτάζουσες
