Purple with a purpose! đź’ś

Today, JMCC staff wore purple for Dress Purple Day, a reminder that we all have a role in helping children, youth and families feel safe, supported and connected.

Every family needs support sometimes. By listening with compassion, offering encouragement and helping families find the resources they need, we can build a more caring community together.

Local youth sharing their stories, challenging myths and leading conversations about inclusion! đź’™ Beyond Barriers puts the voices and talents of Windsor-Essex youth with disabilities front and centre.

Check out the series at a watch party on November 9 at 6 p.m. at the Catholic Education Centre. Details below! 👇

Beyond Barriers is a TV series written, hosted and filmed by youth with disabilities from Windsor-Essex. Through conversations with community guests and youth roundtable discussions, they challenge myths about disability, promote inclusion and accessibility, and highlight the talents, humour, interests and goals of people with disabilities — encouraging us all to see the person, not just the disability.
