Today, on the National Day of Mourning, Ironworkers Local 728 pauses to honour and remember the workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or made ill on the job.

Our trade is built on strength, skill, and pride—but above all, it must be built on safety.

Today is more than remembrance—it’s a call to action.
