This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about advocacy, member engagement, communication, and strengthening Manitoba’s child care sector, the Assistant Director will support organizational operations, member services, communications initiatives, and strategic priorities.

We strongly encourage ECE II, ECE III, and individuals with relevant leadership and sector experience to apply.

It's time to unwind and get messy. Join Thompson Region on Tuesday June 23 at 6pm in Deerwood School field to blast your coworkers and other child care staff with our gooey slime mixture.

Although the slime mixture does not stain please wear old clothes.

FULL DAY PD OFFERINGS COMING 2027 ✨Think an ECE In-Service Day✨

We know that planning a full day PD can be a cost barrier to Centres and Family Child Care Providers. Educators do not always want to give up evenings and weekends to access meaningful learning, and programs deserve opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together.

In 2027 - MCCA will host large full day PD days with topics that cover main trends happening in our sector. These PD days will be full day workshops and include lunch and a subsidized fee thanks to the generosity of The Winnipeg Foundation.

These PD days will be open to entire teams who want to use this event as a PD Day. MCCA's aim is to offer a full day or 2 half day workshops on the topics you see below. We want to provide enough time for programs to get board/ELCC approval and also notify families of closure for that day.

Registration details will be released in our regular brochure as part of Winter 2027 registration.
