Last night our President, Jordan Brown, and our Manager, Stakeholder Relations, Bruce Henley, attended the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce Minister's Dinner. It was a great evening of networking and learning about future plans for Manitoba from those who lead it. Simple conversations can lead to great ideas and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the great discussions that were had and thanks to The Fort Garry Hotel for the amazing meal that went alongside the them.

Meet Dale - a dedicated member of our Board of Directors since 2022, and he’s been making an impact ever since. We’re grateful to have his leadership, passion, and steady voice at the table.
With 34 years as an owner operator, Dale has hauled aggregates, run long haul, and taken on snow removal — but if you ask him what he’s proudest of, he’ll tell you it’s being happily married for 23 years and helping raise three wonderful boys. Family and hard work are at the core of who he is.
Dale was one of the driving forces behind our Best Practices for the Operation & Safe Use of Dump Trailers course, serving on the team that developed the content — an accomplishment he should be incredibly proud of. His commitment to improving training and safety in our industry shows in everything he does.
Another standout moment for Dale was leading the East St. Paul Days Parade in his truck — a memory that perfectly captures his pride in both our industry and the community he serves.
Dale’s advice for anyone new to the industry: Stay focused and stay engaged — it will take you far.
We’re fortunate to have leaders like Dale helping guide the future of HEAT.

Tow truck operators do more than tow vehicles—they clear the way and often show up in high-risk situations to help other drivers. Poor visibility, distracted drivers and weather conditions make their jobs even more dangerous.

Slow down, move over and give them space to do their jobs safely.

👋Meet Jordan – our new President! Jordan has been a dedicated Board member for the past three years. He was originally inspired to join HEAT to help strengthen the industry and contribute to the Snow Removal Standards Committee - which he has! Throughout the years he has also contributed to the City of Winnipeg and Provincial/Municipal Committees.

As President of The Whiteout Group Inc., Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and hands on experience to the table. He values the constant learning and collaboration that happens around the Board table and is always eager to share ideas and elevate industry standards.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys hockey, camping, hunting, traveling, and coaching.

For those new to the industry, Jordan’s advice is simple and memorable: “No one can take away your work ethic. Strap on your boots and get going.”
