The Welland Rose Festival has inspired the public to gather and celebrate since 1961.

Since 1961, the Welland Rose Festival has brought together the people of Welland and surrounding areas to celebrate our history, heritage, and community. The Festival is comprised of several events such as;

Days In The Park
Baby Show
Grand Parade
Street Dance
Children's Fishing Derby
And so much more...

The Welland Rose Festival partners with other community groups and businesses to host events throughout the month of June. We are incredibly lucky to be able to bring back past well-attended entertainment and look forward to showcasing new immersive, crowd-pleasing events! This Legacy Event planned and produced by volunteers will be inevitably destined for greatness in the years to come. The dedicated work of past volunteers has brought forward a new generation of young innovative leaders that are idealistic, enthusiastic, and dreamers for the future of the Welland Rose Festival. Thus demonstrating how our community can carry on old and new traditions, honor diversity, and celebrate unity.

What an incredible Saturday at Merritt Park! Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us, and a huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors, musicians, performers, volunteers, and RB W***y Treasure Hunt participants who helped make the day unforgettable.

Our kids zones were alive with excitment as families enjoyed the rock climbing wall, bouncy castles, slides and inflatable obsitcal course provided by BlackRock Climbers.

Saturday’s lineup brought the energy with Dino Boys plus Elsa & Anna from Party Perfect Niagara, De Menezes Reilly Irish Dance, Old School Rewind, Gravely, Damn Animal, Under The Influence, and our incredible headliner, British Legends Featuring Cher! 🎶✨

The night came to an unforgettable close with a spectacular fireworks show by Victoria Fireworks 🎆

A special thank you to our official media team, Josh Flavell of Digital Oasis Media , for capturing the photos, videos, and graphics that helped bring this year’s festival memories to life.

🎥 Check out our Day 2 Highlight Video and relive the excitement. If you were in the park, you might even spot yourself!
