Hey everyone! Stop by the concourse on Tuesday to buy some Sweet Lou’s cookies with all of the proceeds going to Sick Kids Hospital! The debit/credit machine is available for purchases over $5, and of course cash is acceptable!

Laurier Supporting SickKids has registered for the Campus Challenge for SickKids and we encourage you to join us in fundraising from March 7-14th, 2022.
The Campus Challenge is a fundraising initiative geared towards University and College students to get involved and support SickKids. This year participants of the Campus Challenge are tasked to ‘Be Brave’ and stand in solidarity with SickKids patients.
An act of bravery is anything that (safely) pushes you outside of your comfort zone. As a club, our plan is to walk 200km over the week & raise $800! You can also choose to participate by doing your own act of bravery.

We hope you will join us by sharing our team page (https://fundraise.sickkidsfoundation.com/campuschallenge/ranya-salim) and joining us in an act of bravery. If you want to create your own personal fundraising page, you can do that as well. Just select “Club Member Registration” on the registration form and write (Laurier Supporting SickKids) when prompted.

We need your help if we want to achieve our goal! Next week, everyone is encouraged to walk throughout the week and send your daily kilometres walked to our email and we will be keeping track of all the kilometres walked.

Participating in this challenge will go on your Laurier Experience Record and don’t forget that you need at least 3 events over both the semesters to qualify as a General Member of LSS. *Note: You will get credit on your LER if you either participate by walking and sending your kilometres or if you donate.

*The 1st place prize for the person who walked the most kilometres over the week will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and the people in 2nd and 3rd place will receive $25 Amazon gift cards*
