Reminding residents of the Wallace Area that free Radon Kits are available for pick up Oct 21st and Oct 22nd at the Wallace Museum starting at 7PM. You can also register online through the link below or contact WADA volunteers at [email protected] to reserve a free kit. We have 100 kits available but can order more if needed.

Many thanks to Allen, Megan and Tyler from the Municipality of Cumberland Protective Services, Natural Resources and Regional Emergency Management team. WADA members hosted an informative session regarding Fire Safety and the role of the Municipality. We are planning a collaborative Fire Smart Community Outreach event in May 2027. Stay tuned....

We are hosting Tyler Goodwin, our Regional Emergency Measures Representative from Cumberland County, who will be providing an update on the work being done as well as, addressing our concerns about the bio-mass fuel left over from hurricane Fiona.

WADA is working on developing a Fire Safety Plan for our communities. Our committee is collaborating with government departments to address the biomass fuel left behind by hurricane Fiona. Thanks to Gary Fisher for getting maps. Deb Gordon is standing in front of the maps for the Malagash Area.
WADA is a volunteer organization that meets the 1st Monday of each month at the Wallace Museum at 7PM. Everyone is welcome to attend and get involved!
