With our friends at the Centre for Local Prosperity we are holding an event Local Prosperity 2026: Local People, Local Solutions, this summer August 6-9th in Tatamagouche, NS. This gathering is a conference/festival hybrid focused on re-localization, community wealth building, and place-based economics. Come join us to learn and share how communities can invest in themselves. Good quality local jobs. Land and buildings owned by the community. Community-rooted food systems. Worker-led businesses.
Local Prosperity is designed as a practical, hopeful space for place-based, community-led responses that aim for durable, systemic change rather than one-off projects.
