What an awarding night! It was so wonderful watching everyone have such a great time - dancing, laughing, catching up with friends and showing off their best moves on the dance floor! What a fantastic evening at our fundraising dance in support of our recreation facility. To all our amazing volunteers, you are the solid foundation of our rec committee.. your countless hours,dedication, and willingness to come together to make memories and having fun while supporting such a great community....THANK YOU!

That's a wrap up for another year of soccer and 🏀!
Tonight we gather for our closing BBQ and awards for our 3rd Annual WAAR Monday night programs for children in our area. This year we had 46 registered. A special thank you to our volunteers for taking time for eight weeks to be part of this program. Lucy Hammond, Emily Long, Jessie Lynn Dunphy, Carolyn Long, Dylan Long, Sven Schouten, Denise Langille, Jenna Snowdon, Hawley Snowdon and our summer student Cole Nix. It truly takes a community of people to make our village shine. We are so proud to see our younger generation stepping up and becoming involved in volunteering.

Get ready for a fantastic night as we dance the evening away at our Wallace Recreation Fundraiser! This year, we're changing things up and bringing the party inside air conditioning community hall instead of hosting our outdoor dance, we'll miss the summer breeze - but we definitely won't miss the mosquitoes! Gather your friends, put on your dancing shoes.
