Vaughan CHC is offering the Nutri-Life Cooking Program to support those living with Sickle Cell Disease and Caregivers.

The Nutri - Life Nutrition & Healthy Eating Program are for Individuals with Sickle Cell Disease and caregivers. The program is designed to provide education, hands-on support, and culturally sensitive nutrition programming to empower people with SCD to make healthy food choices, understand the role of diet in disease management, and improve their overall quality of life.

📅Date & Time: September 23 - November 11, 2026 (every Wednesday); 6:00pm - 7:30pm
📍Location: In- person program at Vaughan Community Health Centre 9401 Jane St, Suite 106, (Entrance A) Maple, ON L6A 4H7

VCHC is providing a community care clinic day at Vellore Village Library.

We will be supporting community members with the following:
✅ Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner Registration Support
✅ Blood Sugar Screening and Type 2 Diabetes Education
✅ System Navigation - Connecting you to VCHC services or local resources
✅ Health & Wellness Resources

🌞Join our FREE Summer Camp💥

VCHC Summer Camp program is designed to provide children with an opportunity to develop new friendships, gain
new experiences, learn basic life skills, and have fun. Please note that VCHC’s Summer Camp program is not an accredited
camp and is facilitated by VCHC’s Community Health Workers.

📢Eligibility: Child is a York Region resident; Household income must be under $70000 (based on a family of 4).
📍Camp Location: Keswick High School, 100 Biscayne Blvd, Keswick, ON L4P 3S2
👉To pre- register please EMAIL the following information to [email protected]:
📌Parent’s/Guardian’s Full Name and Phone Number; Child’s Full Name and the Camp Age Group.
⏳**Registration package must be completed online or dropped off in-person at the Keswick Location (716 The
