China & Karry 💜💝
One day, we were spotted running along a busy avenue under the scorching midday sun. Several people tried to catch us, but we were so frightened that we ran toward the traffic, making it impossible to approach us.
Our story was shared on social media, and kind people continued posting updates about our location throughout the day. Finally, that evening, a wonderful couple found us and patiently gained our trust.
They offered us food, water, and safety. Because one of their own dogs has reactivity issues, someone generously lent them an empty house where we stayed for more than two weeks. Every day, they visited us to feed us, walk us, and shower us with love and affection.
When no one came forward to claim us, they asked for help. Since neither of us had been spayed, we began our full veterinary protocol and we have now completed successfully.
👉🏼We are now ready to find our forever home!
💕Ideally, we would love to be adopted together. We share a very special bond. We were never separated while living on the streets, and when we woke up after our spay surgeries, we immediately sought each other out for comfort. We don’t know whether we are mother and daughter or simply companions who came from the same home, but we clearly mean the world to one another 🙏🏼
That said, we understand that adopting two dogs is a significant commitment, and we are also open to separate adoptions if the perfect family cannot take us both.
✔️What Our Foster Mom Says
Andrea Andrews our foster mom, says:
“I truly adore them. They are incredibly affectionate and very clean. They have never had an accident in the house. When I leave, they stay home alone without getting into any trouble.
They love running around the house and playing together. In the mornings, they rush outside to do their business in the garden.
Both are wonderful in the car and make excellent travel companions. They spend a little time looking out the window and then settle down quietly.”
🐾Meet Karry
Chihuahua Mix | 3.5 years old | 12 lbs
Karry is the calmer of the two and tends to be protective of China, especially when other dogs approach too quickly.
She is affectionate and almost always has a smile on her face. Karry loves cuddling in bed, enjoys going for walks, and walks good on leash.
🐾Meet China
Poodle Mix | 13 months old | 9 lbs
China is young, playful, and full of joy. She loves running around the house and playing, but she is equally affectionate and enjoys being close to her people.
She is still learning to focus on walks and can be easily distracted, but she is eager to learn.
