Join HanVoice UBC for a powerful conversation on women and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea). This event will examine ongoing efforts to advance peace, with a particular focus on the intersections of human rights, security, and diplomacy. Specifically, we will touch on feminist approaches regarding the DPRK as well as the unique lived experiences of North Korean women. The conversation will also reflect on what these issues mean in a Canadian context, and how students and community members can engage meaningfully in advancing human rights and peace.
Time: 5:30 PM
