We did it! 💛👟

This year, Team TPLF collectively raised $18,616 for Toronto Public Library at the Constantine Yorkville Run—our highest total in the three years we’ve participated in the run! 🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible partners, fundraisers, runners and supporters who made it possible. Whether you ran, walked, donated to our team, cheered us on or helped spread the word, every step and every dollar made a difference.

Without opportunities to practise, some children can lose months of learning over the summer. Toronto Public Library's free programs help kids like Advay build literacy skills, confidence, and a love of reading—so they’re ready to return to school and keep learning.

Today, we remember Dolly Parton—not only as a legendary singer and cultural icon, but as a lifelong literacy champion whose belief in the power of books changed millions of lives.

Inspired by her father's inability to read and write, Dolly founded the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in 1995. What began as a free book gifting program for children in her home county has grown to span five countries, gifting more than 300 million books and inspiring a love of reading in generations of young readers.

As Dolly once said: “The seeds of dreams are often found in books, and the seeds you help plant in your community can grow across the world.”

Today, that legacy lives on in every child who opens a book and discovers a dream of their own. 📚💙
